Whether for a weekend, a week, or a long weekend, stay in our gîte, Le Sun House, and recharge your batteries between the countryside and the ocean in our beautiful Charente-Maritime region of Nouvelle-Aquitaine.
We live on-site with our children, which allows us to personally welcome you, quickly answer any questions you may have, and offer advice if needed, all while respecting your privacy and peace and quiet.
Located within a shared courtyard where the owners live, the Sun House du Logis (adjoining the Cottage gîte) can accommodate up to 7 people and consists of
- 1 kitchen with gas stove and oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, coffee maker, kettle, and toaster.
- 1 living room (lounge and dining area)
- 1 bathroom (sink, shower, and toilet)
- Central heating (19°C from October to April)
- 1 private terrace (open) overlooking the courtyard
- 1 family bedroom (one 160x200cm bed and one 90x200cm bed)
- 1 children’s bedroom (bunk beds, 90x200cm)
- 1 bedroom (two 90x200cm beds)

- Beds made upon arrival
- Bath linen set (1 sheet and 1 bath towel)
- Grocery drive-through (Super U or Intermarché Saujon) delivered directly to your cottage.
Check-in is between 5 pm and 7 pm, and check-out is before 10 am (inventory check at 9:45 am).
For the safety of young children, parking is on the street (not in the courtyard) during your stay, where there is ample free parking available. Vehicles are only permitted for loading and unloading upon arrival and departure.
Pets are not allowed.
For everyone’s comfort, Le Sun House is a non-smoking property.
For your summer stays, don’t forget your bag of charcoal and pool towels! A barbecue is available in the shared courtyard.
Tourist tax not included. Electricity is included in the price from May to September.
